About the Journal
Journal of Addiction and Mental Health, a peer reviewed journal with a National scope, is the official journal of Society for Addiction Psychology (SAP). The Society was established in 2022 (registration number: 475/22) by social scientists working in the field of addiction and mental health to disseminate advances in research, professional training and clinical practice within the broad range of addictive behaviours. Journal has a Team of Editors with a keen eye for scientific research from National Academic Institutions, and an Editorial Advisory Board from across the field of psychology, psychiatry and allied sciences, having vast experience in research and practice. Besides, Journal is fully supported by the eminent office bearers of Society for Addiction Psychology. Journal follows a stringent scientific process for submitted manuscripts and takes extra care to handle plagiarism. The similarity index cannot be more than 20% in the submitted manuscript. The aim of the Journal is to promote the Society's aims and vision. Submissions that are within the scope of this cross-disciplinary Journal's focus are published. The main type of articles published are: original articles, invited articles, review articles, case reports, opinions and letters to the editor in the field of substance use disorders and mental health.
